Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events before age 18 that can have lasting effects on mental, physical, and emotional health. The good news: with the right support, their impact can be reduced or even prevented (Gervin, 2021).
ACEs training is evidence-based and helps individuals and organizations understand how trauma shapes behavior. It promotes asset-based, community-driven approaches that build resilience and support healing.
This training provides practical tools to support those affected by ACEs and may be available for free. Interested? Ask how to get started and bring this essential knowledge to your team or organization.

Assess Your IDC Level
The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) is an evidence-based tool that measures intercultural competence and the ability to engage effectively across cultures. It uses a 50-item online questionnaire completed in 15–20 minutes with full confidentiality.
The IDI provides individual and group profiles along with a personalized Intercultural Development Plan (IDP) to guide growth. It can also assess an organization’s overall cultural competence.
For groups, the IDI can be paired with interviews or focus groups to identify cross-cultural goals and inform inclusive strategies.
This tool is ideal for individuals and organizations aiming to enhance cultural awareness, inclusion, and collaboration across diverse environments.
